Prof. Bernhard Haas
won numerous prizes at international organ competitions, including the Liszt Competition in Budapest in 1988.
After teaching in Saarbrücken, he was appointed professor of organ at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts in 1994. Since 2012, he has held the same position at the Munich University of Music and Theatre.
Concerts, courses, jury work and recordings in most European countries, Japan and South Korea.
CD recordings with works by Liszt, Reger, Stravinsky, Xenakis, Ferneyhough, and others. Publications include "The New Tonality from Schubert to Webern: Listening and Analyzing According to Albert Simon" (Wilhelmshaven 2004), "The Two-Part Inventions of J.S. Bach" (Hildesheim 2008), and various articles in scholarly journals and conference proceedings.
