The Walcker Organ
A cultural treasure of the Votivkirche.
The association
"Friends of the Walcker Organ"
was founded in March 2023 to ensure the preservation
of the Walcker organ.
Our goal is
to finance the upcoming general restoration of the instrument and preserve its unique organ sound for the future.

CRAIG HUMBER
Chairman
Organist of the Votivkirche
Craig, Artistic Director of the "Orgelklang Votivkirche" concert series, studied concert organ performance in Leipzig, Vienna, and Lübeck.
Originally from Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada, he pursued studies in chemistry, physics, and mathematics at Memorial University, later completing his education at Acadia University.
His passion for music and the organ is reflected in his work at the Votivkirche, where he actively preserves and carries forward the musical heritage of this extraordinary instrument.

JOSEPH FARRUGIA
Vice Chairman
Pastor of the Votivkirche
Over the past 40 years, Dr. Farruggia has built a dynamic and diverse pastoral ministry for visitors to Vienna. His accomplishments include the founding of the Vienna International Religious Centre ( VIRC ) in 1985. The VIRC offers weekly multilingual Masses in six languages—primarily English—for tourists and people temporarily staying in Vienna.

ELIAS GABRIEL HUBER

Organization Manager
Elias Gabriel Huber began his musical journey with violin and viola, later receiving organ instruction from Johanna Feichter. He completed his Bachelor's degree in organ at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, graduating with distinction in 2024.
Currently, he is pursuing organ and harpsichord studies in Vienna while passionately engaging in chamber music and orchestral performances. Additionally, he is studying psychology at the University of Vienna

WOLFGANG KREMSLEHNER

Owner of Kremslehner Hotels GmbH.
The Kremslehner Hotels have been family-owned for over 120 years, representing tradition and hospitality. Mr. Kremslehner is a passionate hotelier dedicated to guest satisfaction. He studied at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration.
