Donations to the Walcker Organ Are Now Tax-Deductible

The Friends of the Walcker Organ are delighted to announce that our association has now been officially recognized as a tax‑privileged charitable organization pursuant to § 4a para. 2 in conjunction with para. 3 of the Austrian Income Tax Act (EStG 1988).

This status is an important acknowledgment of the cultural significance of the Walcker Organ in Vienna’s Votivkirche and enables supporters to deduct their donations from their taxes.

Since only organizations listed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance are granted this privilege, we regard this recognition as both an honor and a responsibility. Every contribution now gains additional impact and helps us preserve and share this extraordinary instrument for generations to come.
