Updated: Jun 26

BEN VAN OOSTEN

performed works by: Harald Fryklöf (1882-1919), Joh. Seb. Bach (1685–1750), Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy (1809– 1847), Marco Enrico Bossi (1861-1925), Max Reger (1873– 1916)

In the impressive, newly renovated Votive Church, organ music lovers experienced a unique event that engaged all their senses.

BEN VAN OOSTEN

was born in 1955 in The Hague. He studied organ and piano at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and later in Paris.

Visitors experience pure organ music—live and unplugged—in perfect harmony with atmospheric, carefully selected lighting elements.

The concert was produced as a multi-camera live production and projected onto a 5x3 meter screen. This technique enables a dynamic and versatile presentation of the event by utilizing various camera perspectives. The audience can witness every facial expression, as well as the finger, hand, and foot movements of the organists in real-time.
