THOMAS OSPITAL performs works by:

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750), César Franck (1822–1890), and Thomas Ospital (*1990)

Thomas Ospital is a French organist, born in 1990 in the Basque Country. Since 2015, he has served as the titular organist of the great organ at Saint-Eustache in Paris. He studied at the Paris Conservatory under renowned teachers such as Olivier Latry and Thierry Escaich, and has won numerous international awards, including the Grand Prix Jean-Louis Florentz.

TEASER

Ospital is particularly renowned for his virtuosity in organ improvisation, which he also employs during silent film screenings.

In addition to his concert activities across Europe, Russia, and the United States, he has served since 2021 as Professor of Organ at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris.
